Lovable Opens London Office: What the Company Announced
According to the company’s official announcement, London has been part of Lovable from the very beginning. The new office makes that link official and gives the city a bigger role. It now serves as the company’s second engineering, product and design hub, after its Stockholm headquarters.
Lovable says London is one of the best talent hubs in the world and has one of the most ambitious tech scenes in Europe. The UK is also home to one of the company’s most active user communities, so being in the city puts the team closer to the people who build with the product, as well as the people Lovable wants to hire.
Who Works in the New London Hub?
The London team covers almost every part of the business. People there work on AI research, growth and enterprise engineering, forward-deployed engineering, security, infrastructure and design. Others work in go-to-market, marketing, people and finance.
The design team is a key part of the story. Led by Nad Chishtie, it has been based in London from the start, which means the company says that every time someone builds with Lovable, they are using something designed in the city.
London is also home to the team from Radish AI, a company that Lovable recently acquired. That group helps the company scale its work on AI agents and infrastructure.
UK Growth: Lovable’s Third-Largest Market
The UK is Lovable’s third-largest market in the world by paying active users, and the company calls it one of its most founder-heavy markets. Well-known organisations that build with the platform include ElevenLabs, PortSwigger, NVIDIA, Adidas and JLL.
Lovable also shared several UK examples:
- Huel: About 300 employees have built more than 200 internal projects across retail, operations and supply chain. By replacing off-the-shelf tools, the company has cut more than £85,000 a year in software costs.
- HLB: The global accounting and advisory network is building its own branded internal hub, with dashboards, collaboration tools, a compliance manager and a business performance app.
- J&T Promotions: The agency began by building websites while its founders were at university. In under a year it grew from 30 clients to more than 550, and from two part-time founders to a team of 15.
Worldwide, people have created more than 70 million projects with Lovable, and more than 1.2 million new projects appear every week. Projects built on the platform get over 900 million visits each month.
Why Lovable Chose London After Its $400 Million Round
The opening comes two months after Lovable raised $400 million in August at a $13.3 billion valuation. Menlo Ventures and the EU-backed Scaleup Europe Fund co-led that round. At the time, the company said it planned to grow its workforce by about 50%, to around 450 people this year.
If London reaches 100 people by December, it would make up roughly a fifth of that planned team. CEO Anton Osika has said before that a big reason for Lovable’s growth is his choice to keep the company in Europe instead of moving to Silicon Valley. London fits that plan: it adds more talent without moving the company’s centre away from Europe.
The Race for AI Talent in London
Lovable will not hire alone. Several large AI companies, including Cursor, OpenAI and Anthropic, have also grown their presence in London in 2026, so competition for engineers and researchers is strong. Lovable’s answer is a London team with what it calls “high talent density”, and an open call for people who want to help shape how software gets built.
