XXXTentacion spent his last day doing normal things. He went to the bank, looked at bikes, and talked to friends. He seemed calm before something very sad happened to him.
On June 18, 2018, at 6:05 AM, XXXTentacion started his day by playing League of Legends. He stopped playing at 6:27 AM. He also played the night before with his friend Craig.

At 8:00 AM, about an hour and a half after logging off League of Legends, XXXTentacion started working on the beat for his new track, CHASE / Glass Shards, which he had recorded just two days earlier.

Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., XXXTentacion spent his time creating music and being with close family and friends. He also shared meaningful moments with his girlfriend, Jenesis, during these hours.

Jenesis wasn’t feeling well and was thinking about whether she should visit a doctor that day.

At 3:11 PM, XXXTentacion called his mother on FaceTime for two minutes, asking if she could join him on a trip to a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach.

She said no at first, which caused a short argument. Later, she agreed to take Jenesis to the doctor instead.

At 3:20 PM, XXXTentacion stopped by the Bank of America on the way to Riva Motorsport with his step-uncle. He arrived in his $150,000 BMW i8, wearing a gold chain and carrying a $2,000 Louis Vuitton bag.

XXXTentacion withdrew $50,000 in cash, confirmed by the bank teller. He carefully placed fifty $1,000 wrapped bundles of $100 bills into a bag before leaving the bank to continue on to Riva Motorsports.

At 3:30 p.m., XXXTentacion reached Riva Motorsports, with Robert Allen and Dedrick Williams right behind him. Outside, Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome waited nearby.

At about 3:30 p.m., fans captured photos of XXXTentacion and his car as he arrived at Riva Motorsports.

At 3:55 p.m., XXXTentacion exited the motorcycle dealership, ready to drive away. Suddenly, a Dodge Journey blocked the exit, and two masked men quickly jumped out of the vehicle.

At 3:57 p.m., XXXTentacion’s step-uncle jumped out of the car and ran away. Meanwhile, Newsome rushed to the passenger side, quickly got into XXXTentacion’s car, grabbed the Louis Vuitton bag holding $50,000, and ran back to the Dodge Journey.

At 3:58 p.m., XXXTentacion looked directly into Michael Boatwright’s eyes. Then, Michael stepped back and shot him, causing fatal injuries.
On April 6, 2023, Newsome and Williams were sentenced to life in prison without any chance of parole. Boatwright received two life sentences plus an extra 30 years, all without parole.
On May 17, 2023, Robert Allen was given 7 years in prison with credit for time served, followed by 20 years of probation after his release. He was released early on October 26, 2023.
